The Challenges

When Sandy struck the Jersey Shore in 2012, this was one of many homes to suffer catastrophic damage from the storm. The homeowners were divided on what they wanted to build – the husband wanted to rebuild his original home, while the wife wanted to build her dream home – but the one thing they could agree on was that they needed a builder who knew the area and had the experience to build a home that withstand future storms.

In the end, the customer opted to spend their money on their dream home, with W.F.D. creating a customized home with an exquisite kitchen, wrap-around staircase, panelized foyer and wainscoting throughout. Wayne also suggested finishing the attic to make it a livable space for their children.

The customers were happy that they spent the money to build their dream home and chose a reliable builder with an impeccable track record for houses that can weather the storm.
